Bucking the trend

Scotland the great

As if your own future wasn’t important enough, spare a thought for the future of the country.

In Scotland and in the rest of the UK we need to develop the skills and talents of people of all ages and genders. It’s the only way we’ll be able to meet international competition.

Developing countries like China and India are producing millions of graduates who are able to do the same work as graduates from the USA, Japan or Europe - at a much lower pay.

Opening up more opportunities for men and women to take up non-traditional occupations will enable us to:

  • meet the challenge
  • give individuals the opportunity to train and develop their individual skills and abilities

Use Equalfuturz and PlanIT Plus to find out more about non traditional jobs, courses and training.
